Types of Pipes

Our Pipe Planters are manufactured from HDPE plastic and have been painted for extra UV protection, all have a built in drip irrigation system with a standard garden hose coupling and come in a number of unique designs that can be broken up into three main categories:

Vertical Wall Garden

This is a modular system with built in drip irrigation and can be extended as needed, you can start with the base (600mm) that accommodates 12 plants and then add on additional Extensions (also 600mm in height) up to three, in total giving you 1.8mx 400mm and 36 plants of beautiful vertical garden. These are best suited for small shrubs, flowering plants, ground covers and climbers but can also be used for Strawberries and Herbs. These are also available in the larger 160mm Dia for bigger plants and larger yields.

Hanging Horizontals

Our Horizontal gardens are ideal for eaves, porches and patios or anywhere there is a nice bit of sun, they can accommodate up to 15 plants like Strawberries, Sweat Peas, Herbs, Peas and Beans and even Jasmine.

Salad Pipe

Based on SFG (Square Foot Gardening) our larger Salad Pipe is perfect for a couple to enjoy a salad variety almost every night. There is the free standing design for placement on any sound surface or the hanging type to be suspended from an overhang, trees or trusses and is ideal when wanting to grow tomatoes hanging down. Spinach, Chard, Leaf Lettuce, Mustard Crest, Radishes, Cherry Tomatoes, Spring onions, Coriander, Thyme and even baby beetroot thrive giving abundant harvests and hours of delight.
